Just wanted to let you know we're still here.

Hi, Everyone,
I wanted to let you know a little bit about what's going on. Since I left OESD, I've had a lot of time to get renewed and rejuvenated. My rejuvenation has resulted in my going back to college. Yes, it can be done! I'm enjoying the dickens out of it and am learning a lot. However, there seems to be less time in the day than there used to be. (I think it's that history book, but they say I have to take it.) I will be taking a lot of computer classes to enable me to made a difference in the way we communicate and get information and education out to you. I have a lot of things simmering on the burner just waiting to get out.

I have several patterns almost ready, one is for a Hot Iron Caddy that is a must have for anyone who takes their iron on retreats or to class. My prototype was "commissioned" by one of our Madcow retreaters and she went "GaGa" over the finished product. The girls at "Girls Night Out" also had the same reaction. That will probably be the next thing added.

The Explorations videos are going to continue as well. The next one will be on Monograms. And we are planning on making them available on CD's or DVD's so those with show access can have a better experience.

All this takes time, unfortunately. I guess everything worthwhile does take time otherwise anyone could do it, right?

Keep in mind that I am still writing articles for Designs Magazine so make sure you either subscribe to the magazine, read it online at www.dzgns.com, or pick it up at your local sewing store. (I know JoAnn's carries it and I believe Barnes and Noble does too.)

Jenn has been spending some time on this website as well. I'm sure you'll notice some tweaks and differences. She's trying to make it more palatable and easier for us all to use (yes, even us!).
